Emma Clements is a director and producer based in Chapel Hill, NC.

They graduated in May 2023 from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English and Psychology. Outside of the classroom, they worked with several student theatre companies to create innovative and accessible theatre for the campus and surrounding community to enjoy. They served in several leadership and production roles, including Executive Director of Production for Pauper Players’ 22-23 season.

Currently, they are serving as the Artistic Director for a brand new independent theatre collective, Boy With Box Theatre Company. The company is seeking to produce eccentric and meaningful work as well as provide a home for emerging Triangle artists to grow together and learn.

Emma’s directorial work thus far has focused on coming-of-age stories, the experiences of young women, and found family. Emma plans to pursue a graduate degree in Arts Administration in the coming years.
